Bunches of stuff

So, last night, after my wonderful little post (not really), I got upset and went to Search and Rescue for my ward, because I knew I needed a break from reality.  I walked into the doors of my church, and I was volunteered for teaching a missionary discussion with Alex Greenhalgh.  What?!?!  I totally freaked out.  So, he and I left to go to teach this discussion, and it went SURPRISINGLY well.  I had never taught one of these discussions before, but I felt the spirit SOOO strong.  I was surprised at how much I had to say.  I shouldn't be, because I'm always able to discuss the gospel with ease.

Well, after the discussion, we went to go do the search part of search and rescue.  Ha ha ha.  Funny story, and I can't even tell it right, but I'll do my best.  Alex decided that we needed to go to one house because it was a Bishop's referral.  So, I thought I typed in the address in my GPS right, and we followed it to the house.  Well, we got there, knocked on the door, and I thought it was the wrong house, before the lady answered the door.  We asked her if we could shovel her sidewalk, because we accidentally got the wrong house.  After she declined, we started to walk to the house next door... Realizing that it was the wrong number as well.  We went back to his truck and realized that I had typed in the wrong address for my GPS, and we had originally knocked on the right door.  So, we go back, embarrassed as all get out, knock on the door again, a little girl answers the phone and we hear, "Shut the door!"  Hahahaha...

Then we decided to walk down the street to a couple of other houses that were on the road.  The lady that initially answered the door was staring out the window at us the entire time.  It was SOOOO funny!  And I don't think Alex will ever take me on search and rescue ever again because of that blunder!!!

Then, afterwards, I went to watch the Elder's quorum basketball game.  It was a GREAT choice, and I'm going to start going every week because of the band they have.  Yeah, it's Ben Simmons on the trumpet, Aaron Calder on the drums, and someone else on the tuba.  Ha ha ha.  And Ben's shouts are more entertaining than the game...

This may be my last blog for a while, because I'm going to start babysitting at my brother's house while he's in Mexico.
